Gneissic slabs are unshaped gneiss, which has retained the natural look of the harvested stone without further cropping or resizing.
Poligonal slabs from Ivailovgrad gneiss, offered by Valmarg Stone, come in two styles – golden-beige or silver-grey. They come in all sizes, with thickness of 1,5 to 4,5 cm. The slabs are sorted by size, thickness and color in separate pallets.
Polygonal plates for Lining
Stones, used for lining, should be thinner, with thickness of 1.5 to 2.5 cm. The cladding stones should not be too thick, just so they do not become too heavy. Often, they are used for decorative and protective purposes – thus, the polygonal plates with less thickness are ideal for cladding of fences and walls.
If you want to tile larger areas, please, select stones with larger sizes, while for smaller areas – please, choose smaller stones.
Polygonal Plates for Paving
The stones, used for paving must be sturdy, with thickness of 2.5 to 4.5 cm, to withstand great loads. They can be placed on a concrete base, thoroughly vibrated sand or grass fugue.
Please, follow the rule of using plates with a larger size for larger areas and smaller plates for more limited spaces. That way, you will save time for their placement and materials for the grouting.
Advantages of Polygonal Plates
Polygonal plates account for the authentic appearance of the place that you used for tiling or paving.
Polygonal plates allow you to create figural compositions.
Polygonal plates are cheaper than cut gneiss, as there is no additional cost for processing.
The extra tiles can always be used together for the creation of additional rocky ornaments in the garden.
